IMPORTANT NOTICE!!

Dear Customers,
This is an update on progress of the change over from TrumpNet to Intas. » Previous Announcement

All dial-up, ADSL, mail and websites are continuing as normal – TrumpNet suppliers are continuing to support the dial modem pool, ADSL services and associated services.

Our tech team is in the process of moving the TrumpNet mail service to our mail server. Completion is due this week. All customer login and mail details will be imported into our billing system and upon completion we will be authenticating users through our radius and mail servers. Please note once mail is being handled by our mail server special filtering software will scan all incoming mail for both viruses and junk mail.

Your TrumpNet username and password stay the same along with your email address. For the time being please continue to use the existing dial-up number (0198 333 327).

As stated in our first email our dial-up access plans are slightly different to the existing TrumpNet plans. To ensure continuing service we have put users on to a plan that most closely resembles their existing plan. Those on the ‘Air’ plan have been put on TrumpNet Lite ($7.50/Mth includes – 4 hours/Mth excess at $2.20/Hr) – all users on the various ‘unlimited hours’ plans (‘Glide’ ‘Mini-mal’ and ‘Malibu’) have been put on the TrumpNet Special ($19.80/Mth – untimed and unlimited data). ADSL users will continue with current plans. If this is not suitable please call us on 1300 13 10 13 and we shall attend accordingly.

Hosted websites are also in the process of being moved with the process due for completion by the end of the week with no action needing to be taken done by website customers.

You should have received last month’s TrumpNet account for access and excess charges. Could you please remit those charges to TrumpNet – (Managers Appointed) directly. Users who normally pay by cash at the Bellerive office may like to drop their payment into our office in the Elizabeth St Mall (Level 1, 29 Elizabeth St - above ‘Starbucks’) and we will ensure that it is passed on. Charges for access from 1st August will be invoiced by Internet Tasmania.

In line with standard industry practice, our billing system invoices monthly access charges in advance and any excess charges are billed in arrears. We are aware however that the TrumpNet system billed both monthly AND excess charges in arrears. We are also aware that this will mean a doubling up this month to bring accounts into line. To ease this transition we have extended the payment due date on all new invoices. Those users who have paid in advance to TrumpNet will have the amount credited to their Intas account.

TrumpNet’s Ryan Frankcombe is working with us to keep all services going and assisting with the change over to our servers. He is working in the Bellerive office and for the time being will be continuing to answer the 1300 361 220 and 6244 0224 numbers. If you are unable to make contact on either of those numbers or wish to speak to us on any matters regarding the changeover, please do not hesitate to call 1300 13 10 13.
